Standon May Day takes place in the picturesque village of Standon, Hertfordshire on the early May Bank Holiday. Festivities include Morris dancing, Main Arena with entertainment, crowning of the May Queen and maypole dancing (courtesy of the local school), small fairground, stalls selling a variety of local produce, crafts, tombolas. Plus food, drink and games. Roger De Clare school run a duck race on the River Rib. The two village pubs and the beautiful St.Marys church are open too. Fun for everyone- rain or shine!​
